Story:
Legend has it that the Crusaders encountered a blade that was capable of slicing their swords in half in one swipe, they called it Damascus Steel. It's even rumored that Alexander the Great had his sword made of Damascus Steel. Our hammer forged, light-weight, Damascus Native Hatchet was handcrafted, exclusively for High Rock Made, in the Middle East where its name originated.
The pattern we engraved into the handle was inspired by our frequent travels into the Adirondack High Peaks region and the stories told of the Native American tribes that frequented the area.
